Welcome to Cróga™, the sports nutrition brand created through the GAA/GPA with Gaelic games players in mind.

Cróga is more than a quality sports nutrition brand. It represents a unique joint venture between the GAA/GPA and Nuvion Nutrition. It brings together sporting insight and over 20 years of Irish-based sports nutrition manufacturing experience.

Because the GAA and GPA are co-owners of Cróga, product development involves collaboration with both organisations in a variety of ways. This collaborative approach helps ensure every formulation reflects the demands of hurling, football, camogie and ladies' football.

Just as importantly, this partnership has been designed to give something back. As a co-owned brand, a portion of proceeds from every Cróga purchase is reinvested into supporting Gaelic games across Ireland, benefiting players, clubs and the communities that make our games so great.

Every Cróga product is also Informed Sport Certified. Every batch is independently tested for more than 250 substances prohibited in sport using ISO/IEC 17025 accredited methods, giving players confidence in the quality, safety and integrity of every product.

The result is a sports nutrition range that is trusted on the field, developed with the people who know Gaelic games best, and built to support the future of the games for generations to come.

What’s in a name. Why Cróga?

The name Cróga comes from the Irish word for brave, bold and valiant and was chosen to reflect the qualities every player draws on when representing club or county. It is a word that lives in the language of Gaelic games and one that recognises the standard the brand is committed to upholding in every product we make.

The GAA is Ireland’s largest sporting and cultural organisation promoting Gaelic football, hurling, handball and rounders. It is a volunteer led, community-based organisation that works closely with LGFA and Camogie, boasting a growing presence on five continents around the world.
